Scottish rapper AK CEEZ returns with measured delivery, playful samples and a neat sitar motif in his latest single ‘One In A. Mil’. Following singles ‘CAPITAL THOUGHTS’ and ‘Don’t Go Away’, his newest work reflects on setbacks and the rebuilding of self-belief.
Discussing the single, AK CEEZ explains:
“One In A. Mil is about trying to find your feet when life keeps pulling the ground from under you. I’ve had moments where I thought I was finally moving forward, only to feel like I was starting again. Writing this was my way of reminding myself that I’ve figured things out before, and I can do it again. There’s a play on my name in the title, but the belief behind it is something I’ve had to earn.”
Born in Aberdeen, raised in Buckie, Ceez also performs with family hip-hop group AB Kollective and since his debut in 2025, he’s attracted acclaim from Amazing Radio, Wordplay and A&R Factory.
