Mississippi artist and entrepreneur Jaqurrius moves between melodic rap and mournful singing on the new single ‘Goodbye’, following September singles ‘Feel None’ and ‘Writing Our Name In Cursive’. Jaqurrius, AKA Lorenzo Hudson, releases through his Camp X brand and his own indie label, Adjust Maintain Achieve, with a distinctive sound that blends hip-hop, pop, and neatly tailored commercial songwriting.
Discussing the release, Jaqurrius explains:
“There’s nothing too special or unique about this particular project it was just another ordinary day of writing for me. The creative process wasn’t so brain-draining for it either, which is always an A+! I heard the beat from one of my favorite producers and was like, yeah, I like this, so I thought it would fit into a nice emotional story.”
