The announcement follows the conclusion of Tove’s recent North American run, which brought ESTRUS to stages in Nashville, Chicago, Brooklyn, Toronto, Los Angeles and Mexico City. This week, she heads to the UK and Europe for her largest headline shows in the region to date, joined by Rose Gray. The tour continues into 2027 with an appearance at Electric Avenue Festival in Christchurch, New Zealand, followed by headline performances across Australia with support from Salty, before returning to the U.S. for the newly announced spring dates.

Released this past September via Pretty Swede Records/Virgin Music Group, ESTRUS is primal, restless and emotionally unfiltered, pushing the contradictions that have always lived at the center of Tove Lo‘s music into sharper focus: euphoria and melancholy, desire and doubt, intimacy and independence, the body and the mind. Across 13 tracks of propulsive, emotionally charged electro-pop, she embraces those opposing impulses without trying to resolve them, capturing what it feels like to want everything at once. The album has drawn praise from Pitchfork for its “flashes of synth-pop brilliance,” while Vogue called it “made for the dark and sweaty rooms,” and Paste Magazine hailed Tove as “the OG messy girl of pop.”

Following 2022’s Dirt Femme, Tove found herself with more questions than answers as she navigated a new chapter in her life and career. That unresolved tension became the foundation of ESTRUS, a record that allows seemingly opposing impulses to coexist without forcing them into resolution. Inspired by The Knife, Robyn and the Swedish indie dance music she grew up on, Tove created the album alongside longtime collaborator Ludvig Söderberg, as well as Elvira Anderfjärd and Luka Kloser. Featuring lead single “I’m your girl right?,” the biting, cathartic “DNH,” focus track “source of life,” and “des fleurs” featuring Stromae, ESTRUS pairs visceral, body-moving production with some of Tove’s most emotionally exposed songwriting to date.

On the meaning behind ESTRUS, Tove Lo explains: “Estrus is an animal in heat. It’s primal. It’s my mind and my body wanting different things, wanting everything. There’s no good advice on this album… just a lot of feelings, no solutions.”

With the ESTRUS World Tour continuing across Europe, Australia and now into Spring 2027 in the United States, Tove brings the album’s raw energy, emotional contradictions and uninhibited spirit to the stage, giving fans another opportunity to experience the world of ESTRUS live.
