Meiv present their second single “No Future Pt. 1 & 2” ft. Armand Hammer, the duo of underground MCs billy woods and ELUCID, out today via Dom Recs.
Blending electronica, alternative pop, indie, jazz-fusion, and retro synth sensibilities, Meiv crafts lush, meticulously produced soundscapes. Built upon the collaboration between longtime musical partners Curinus (based in Tokyo) and Eugene Nx (based in Hong Kong), the project evolved into an artistic endeavor with the addition of vocalist Sara Nx, Eugene’s daughter, who began contributing vocals and ideas as a child, transforming early compositions into songs that blend imagination with sonic sophistication.

Today’s single “No Future Pt. 1 & 2” expands their global collaboration project with a rare appearance by Armand Hammer. On the song, Sara Nx and the band bounce over staccato organ and swinging bass until the rhythm drops and billy woods & ELUCID weave vivid bars over a dark beat.
