Formed in Brighton at the start of 2024, LOOK WHAT HAPPENED are Jamie Walker (Vocals), Ryan Hancock (Guitar), Billy-Joe Clark (Guitar), Joshua Taylor (Bass), and Jack Lowe (Drums). Their sound comes from the pop punk they grew up with, drawing on blink-182, New Found Glory, Paramore, Lagwagon, Yellowcard, Stand Atlantic and A Loss For Words.

Their forthcoming EP has already picked up the support of Devolution Magazine, while the new single, Make It Real, has earned praise from BSB TV, Total Rock, and Primordial Radio. They’ve also received BBC Introducing airplay for the tracks, Deadweight, and Burn In Hell, alongside regular plays on Amazing Radio. On the live circuit, they’ve been building a loyal following across Southern England, sharing bills with Archers Killing Archers, supporting Better Than The Book, and performing at Friend Fest—the day festival from Making Friends.

Their new EP, Weak Minds For The Weekend was recently recorded this Summer. The lead single, Make It Real, is an anthemic, raucous pop-punk track about struggling with your own inner truth and derealisation. It explores neglecting personal growth, falling back into bad habits and the frustration of repeatedly getting in your own way. Jack (drums) says: “We recorded Weak Minds For The Weekend with Ian Sadler over five days in July. Our aim was to create an homage to the pop punk bands we grew up on. I’d like to think we succeeded!”

Across Weak Minds For The Weekend, LOOK WHAT HAPPENED bring the pop punk they grew up on into their own world, pairing the genre’s hooks and energy with lyrics about frustration, self-doubt and trying to make sense of your own head. The result is a five-track EP from a band still figuring things out and being honest about that process.
