BTS’ SUGA Brings “Haegeum” to Call of Duty: Warzone’s New South Korea Map

Call of Duty: Warzone is bringing a distinctly Korean musical touch to its latest update. The game’s Hajin Conflict launch trailer features “Haegeum” by Agust D, the solo project of BTS member SUGA, creating a fitting musical backdrop for the franchise’s first map set in South Korea.

Originally released in 2023 as the title track from SUGA’s solo album D-DAY, “Haegeum” takes its name from a traditional Korean string instrument, which also plays a central role in the song’s distinctive sound. Blending traditional Korean musical elements with contemporary hip-hop, the track makes for a particularly appropriate choice to accompany the introduction of Hajin.

The musical pairing adds another layer of cultural identity to the new map, connecting the game’s South Korean setting with a track that draws directly from the country’s musical heritage.
