SINGLE REVIEW: Acidic’s Base by Tachyon

Chicago where you at?! We’re so excited to bring back Acidic Base and his latest release of singles that are sure to blow you away. Yup, we’re talking about Tachyon – his newest brainchild that he’s worked so hard on. When you listen to artists like Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz, you’re definitely listening to Acidic Base. His signature sound is defined by melodic complexity and dynamic production – he’s behind the sounds we all came to know.

He has a knack for leaning towards creating structures and progressions that only an improvisational musician. His interest in string instruments comes from such artists as Elton John and Billy Joel – he’s brought their styles with the new electronic genre to truly dazzle our ears. Has his background blown you away yet? Just take a look at his website and see who’s behind the genius.

No, you need a little more. Just plug in the track in whatever device you’re listening to and let the music speak for me. He conveys his own story through his music – a series of events and musical experiences with his guitar and piano. These are the two instruments that he uses the most to keep his style in line with this musical vision. He’s a naturalist, he wants his sounds to be as organic as possible.

Take a listen for yourself and allow yourself to get lost in the natural synthetic sounds of Acidic Base’s “Tachyon”. Yes, that last thing we just said is definitely ironic but nonetheless, quite true.
