It’s been very reserved for the last two years.
What is the best concert you have been to? What do you like most about playing live?
There have been so many over the years. I can’t really pick just one. A recent one that was really good was Def Leppard with Tesla a couple of years ago in Ottawa, ON. But I have enjoyed many concerts over the years from Country, to Rock and Pop concerts.
Is there a song on your latest CD release here that stands out as your personal favorite, and why? I’m really proud of my new single “Long Hard Rain” . I’m very happy with the way it turned out. Connecting and collaborating musically with my good friends and band mates Marc Muir and Kevin Eamon was great! Also having my label mate and friend Ed Roman contribute to it was wonderful as well!
How have you evolved as an artist over the last year?
I think we are always evolving as artists and songwriters. Often it’s my surroundings or current things happening in the country and sometimes around the world as things change. I have learned a lot about people, both the good and the bad, so that may have made me a bit more cautious maybe… I’m not sure? But the ideas still have to guide me, and not the other way around still. I think that part will always be there for me!
If you could meet, play a gig, co-write a song, have dinner, have a drink with any band or artist (dead or alive) who would it be? Tom Petty, Brian Wilson, Travis Tritt, Eric Clapton, Chris Golden.
What’s next for you? I am currently promoting the new single “Long Hard Rain” with Michael Stover at MTS Management Group. So I’m excited about that, with a new lyric video in the works for it also. And I am also looking forward to playing some cool live shows this summer here in Eastern Ontario. Just trying to keep on keeping on… ! 😉
