ANDERSON EAST ANNOUNCES FIRST-EVER LIVE ALBUM

GRAMMY® Award nominated singer-songwriter Anderson East has announced the release of his first ever live album. ALIVE IN TENNESSEE arrives at all DSPs and streaming services via Low Country Sound/Elektra on Friday, May 3rd.  In honor of Record Store Day – a worldwide party that celebrates brick and mortar record stores – ALIVE IN TENNESSEE will be exclusively available at independent record stores in the U.S. as a limited edition, double-vinyl release beginning on April 13th.  For more information, including a store locator, please visit recordstoreday.com

“We try to put on a great show night after night but this one was incredibly special to me and I’m excited to share the beauty and blemishes with you all. So proud of my incredible band and everyone involved,” said East.

Recorded last September at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium during his sold out ENCORE World Tour, ALIVE IN TENNESSEE captures all the energy and excitement of Anderson East’s acclaimed live performances, highlighted by electrifying renditions of songs from his 2015 Low Country Sound/Elektra debut album, DELILAH, as well as the complete tracklisting from last year’s breakthrough ENCORE, including “This Too Shall Last,” “Girlfriend,” “King For A Day,” and “All On My Mind“ – the latter song a recent GRAMMY® Award nominee for “Best American Roots Performance.” As if all that weren’t enough, the 18-track album showcases East’s gift for raw soul with a blistering live take on the Sam & Dave classic, “Hold On, I’m Comin’.”

An inveterate road warrior, East will continue to spend much of his time on tour in the coming months, including headline shows, international festival performances, and a featured role in “The Music of Van Morrison,” an all-star tribute concert set for Thursday, March 21st at New York City’s one and only Carnegie Hall. In addition, East has slated a pair of very special summer supports, joining Dispatch at Vienna, VA’s Wolf Trap on June 29th and the great Mavis Staples at LaGrange, GA’s Sweetland Amphitheatre at Boyd Park on August 3rd. Additional dates will be announced. For complete details, please visit andersoneast.com.
