Kiddus Releases New Music Video For “Crazy You”

A re-imagining of Prince’s original-Crazy You is bizarre and disorienting yet dripping in a naturally unfolding charm and quietly exploding with a lo-fi raw energy of creativity. The track sits as part of the Snake Girl EP: recorded following a year of near complete isolation.

Unwinding a discordant journey through the depths of the human mind,19 year old emerging Bristol based musician Kiddus releases the visual for ‘Crazy You’- the first single from his debut EP: ‘Snake Girl’. Watch here

Given the context and sound of the track, it’s hard to ignore the ‘crazy’, yet Kiddus manages to bring some sense of order to this madness and tease out a cathartic beauty for listeners to hear.

The visual is set against different VHS style ‘channels’- showing a flow of iconography whilst the artists silhouette performs in the foreground.

The EP release will follow the release of the visual for single: Crazy You.

There is something distinctly different and exciting about Kiddus as an artist. Naturally reserved, free from being polished and oozing creative sensibilities- this release is an introduction to the deeply personal DIY world Kiddus has created: making sense of madness in the modern world.
