Country lovers rejoice! We got another great artist for you to add into your playlist – Zach DuBois is back with new single “Paris Is For Lovers.”
About the song, DuBois comments:
“Paris is for Lovers was inspired by a trip to Paris, France with my girlfriend at the time. One night we ended up getting into a ‘disagreement’ at a corner café, after enjoying a few glasses of wine at dinner. She left me alone at the café to head back to our Airbnb, and being a songwriter, I made the most of the opportunity, making a note in my iPhone to ‘write a song about breaking up in Paris.’ I thought it was an interesting angle – you always hear these super romantic songs about Paris and so I wanted to take the opposite approach. So I when I got back to the States after our trip, I wrote Paris is for Lovers with my buddy (and producer) Eli Rhodes. While the song doesn’t have a happy ending for the narrator, all ends well in real-life. We returned to Paris the following year, where I proposed at the Cour Carrée du Louvre and are now happily married. Our wedding was at The Listening Room – one of my favorite songwriter clubs in Nashville – in June of this year.”
Zach is a CMT Discovery Artist, plus an ASCAP Plus Songwriter Award winner. The song is featured on Zach‘s upcoming album Flâneur – available September 22. Zach has also opened shows for Old Dominion, Josh Abbott Band, Jack Ingram, Turnpike Troubadours, Jerrod Niemann and Randy Houser.
