Set in a cavernous church, ‘Judgement Day’ sees Stealth make his confession while haunted by the memory of a siren. The apocalyptic rapture of the song features Stealth’s weighty neo-soul vocals at their most intimate yet through a sombre, brooding honesty.
‘Judgement Day’ has clocked up over a MILLION plays across YouTube and Spotify, while it has charted globally in 12 countries on Shazam, entering both the US Future Hits Chart at No.9, and the UK at No.13. Shazam also featured the song as their ‘Track Of The Day’ and described it as “this year’s ‘Take Me To Church’.”
It’s the latest song to be taken from Stealth’s debut EP Intro, which entered the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart at No.2 in the UK and No.3 in the US upon release.
The Intro EP has been quickly turning tastemaker heads at radio. Phil Taggart has been a big champion at Radio 1 and described previous single ‘I Don’t Need Your Love’ as, “a three-minute record of pure perfection,” while the single has also gained support from Dermot O’Leary at Radio 2, where he performed a special live session on the show. The Birmingham singer is also backed by BBC Introducing.
Stealth has been carving a distinct mark on the live scene. He is supporting Vaults on their four-date April UK tour, which starts at Glasgow’s Stereo today (April 11th) and finishes at the Deaf Institute, Manchester on April 14th. He sold out his first ever London headline show at Servant Jazz Quarters in November, and has also played in support of Seinabo Sey, Jamie Woon, Zella Day and Tiggs Da Author.
