Tom Hancock – Innate Subjects

Newcastle-born, Paris-based folk-indie songwriter Tom Hancock has released his debut album, Innate Subjects, a deeply personal and sonically expansive record blending contemporary folk with ambient textures, electronic beats, and subtle synths. Created in Paris with producer Saving Felix and shaped by the creative spirit of the Listen Marianne Collective, the eight-track album explores love, loss, guilt, and change through intimate storytelling and cinematic production. Influenced by artists including Nick Drake, Elliott Smith, and Sufjan Stevens, the record balances emotional honesty with adventurous arrangements, highlighted by the lead single “Sycamore,” inspired by the felling of the Sycamore Gap tree and the collapse of a significant relationship.

Alex Kilroy – “Break My Chains”

Rising blues-rock artist Alex Kilroy unveils his new single “Break My Chains,” the title track from his debut album arriving May 15. Blending smoky blues, psychedelic textures, and desert-rock energy, the song showcases Kilroy’s soulful guitar work and raw vocals while drawing inspiration from legends like Stevie Ray Vaughan and The Doors. Born in Bistrița, Romania, Kilroy pursued a lifelong connection to American blues, eventually relocating to Nashville and later Orlando after years of touring and overcoming major personal and professional obstacles. Recorded in Florida with producer Tres Sasser, the album reflects themes of self-liberation, authenticity, and personal growth shaped in part by the recent loss of his father.

Tamara S – “Take Me Away”

Rising R&B artist Tamara S returns with “Take Me Away”, a soulful and reflective single from her upcoming EP due later this year. Blending neo-soul warmth with contemporary R&B, Tamara S explores themes of self-discovery, spirituality and emotional honesty through smooth vocals and thoughtful songwriting. Inspired by her desire to escape urban life and reconnect with nature, the track offers a soothing yet powerful sense of release. Following previous releases including “What we gon’ do”, “Fast Life” and “Very Special”, which have earned more than 400,000 Spotify streams, she continues to build momentum with support from BBC Introducing and BBC 1Xtra while establishing herself within the UK R&B and soul scene.

Sharon Katta – “Authority”

Independent songwriter, producer, and storyteller Sharon Katta has released “Authority”, a powerful spoken-word protest track exploring power, civic dignity, and the strained relationship between citizens and institutions. Known for blending melodic songwriting with spoken passages and dramatic production, Sharon creates reflective, emotionally charged narratives about identity and human conflict. “Authority” shifts between pop, rap, and spoken word, drawing inspiration from artists like Kendrick Lamar and Jon Bellion. Originally written as a protest poem in Hyderabad in 2021, the piece was later expanded in London into a full musical work addressing empathy, respect, and civic responsibility. With its layered production and urgent message, “Authority” positions Sharon Katta as a compelling emerging artist in 2026.

Avnah – “I Feel Your Love In Me”

American singer Avnah makes a powerful debut with “I Feel Your Love In Me”, a soulful fusion of jazz, R&B, funk, and pop shaped by her multicultural upbringing. Born in Atlanta and raised in Ghana from the age of two, Avnah developed a sound rooted in both Western and West African influences before refining her artistry at a performing arts school in New Haven. Co-written and co-produced by Grammy-winning duo MILK+SIZZ and Dee Coley, the track blends smooth guitar, warm percussion, layered harmonies, and expressive vocals into an immersive listening experience. With emotional depth, polished songwriting, and a clear artistic vision, Avnah emerges as a compelling new voice in contemporary music.
