Warner Music Group’s PlayOn Fest has unveiled set times for the first-of-its-kind virtual festival, set to run from Noon (ET) on Friday (4/24) through midnight on Sunday (4/26), reliving incredible performances from 65+ global superstars for a one-time only viewing to support the World Health Organization’s Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund, powered by the UN Foundation.
The festival also announces today additions to the lineup including Grammy-winning superstar Lizzo’s incredible Coachella 2019 performance, which took place the same weekend as the anticipated release of her career-defining debut album Cuz I Love You; British electro-soul duo HONNE’s mesmerizing return to the Lollapalooza stage in 2019; and rock titans Disturbed’s adrenaline-inducing set from Austin City Limits 2018.
Kicked off by LL COOL J this Friday at noon ET, PlayOn Fest will stream live on April 24-26 exclusively via Songkick’s YouTube channel HERE and at PlayOnFest.com. Warner Music Group has also launched exclusive PlayOn Fest merch (see HERE), with all proceeds going to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for WHO. In addition, fans will be encouraged to click-to-donate throughout the three-day-event. Donations will support WHO’s work to track and understand the spread of the virus; to ensure patients get the care they need and frontline workers get essential supplies and information; and to accelerate development of a vaccine and treatments for all who need them.
