The wait is over. Independent hipsterism- hop’s newest fibber, Gilchrist Rello, has officially entered the converse with his debut EP, All I Am. Available now on all streaming platforms, this five- track design is not just a collection of songs — it’s a palm stage for an artist who beat the odds to find his voice.
Forget everything you think you know about debut projects. All I Am is raw, it’s real, and it’sready to shake up your playlist. Featuring the tracks “All I Am,” “I Was,” “Devil Talks,” “Miss The High,” and “Jack Frost,” this EP is a front-row seat to an artist baring his soul.
Gilchrist Rello didn’t take a typical route to becoming a vocalist. He was born to play football—a Bowling Green State University athlete dreaming of making it to the NFL. However, after facing a series of personal hardships, grief, and the upheaval of the pandemic, his athletic ambitions were sidelined.
Instead of folding under the pressure, he adjusted his game plan—like any true competitor would.

What began as relaxed freestyle sessions, encouraged by his cousin Zay Finale, soon became an all-consuming passion. “I figured out I was pretty good at this,” Rello laughs. Fast forward through grief, substance battles, and a chance meeting with his now-manager Kevin, and that hobby has become a full-blown second act. And what a debut it is.
Make no mistake—All I Am isn’t trying to be a polished, radio-ready product. It’s better than that. It’s a time capsule. It captures the exact moment a man decided to stop hiding from his demons and start rapping about them.

“It’s amateurish compared to where I’m at now,” Rello admits with a confidence that only comes from growth. “But this is my introduction. This is me finally telling the truth.”
And the truth hits hard. “Devil Talks” and “Miss The High” dive headfirst into the darker chapters of his life, tackling substance use and temptation with a visceral honesty. The title track, “All I Am,” is a reflective anthem about identity, while “I Was” serves as a powerful eulogy for the person he used to be. Closing out the vibe is “Jack Frost,” a track that adds depth and dimension to a remarkably strong debut.

This is just the opening round.
Gilchrist Rello has already returned to the studio, more focused and driven than before. All I Am sets the tone, showing that his transition from athlete to artist is something he’s taking seriously.
His debut is worth your attention. You can listen to “All I Am now” on Spotify, Apple Music, and other major streaming platforms.
