ODUMODUBVLCK announces debut album due October 6th

Nigerian rap powerhouse ODUMODUBLVCK has announced his debut album, INDUSTRY MACHINE, set for release on October 6 via Native Records / Kalacious Entertainment. Alongside the release date, he revealed the album’s striking artwork, created in collaboration with global disruptor Slawn and acclaimed artist Soldier.

The announcement follows the widespread success of lead single “Pay Me,” featuring Stormzy and Zlatan, which has earned A-List placement on BBC 1Xtra, support from Jack Saunders on Radio 1, and rotation on Capital Xtra.

2025 has been a landmark year for ODUMODUBLVCK. His single “Pity This Boy” featuring Victony has amassed nearly 40 million Spotify streams and its video is approaching 2 million YouTube views. The track peaked at No. 2 on the UK Official Afrobeats Chart and helped propel his April mixtape The Machine Is Coming to a No. 1 debut in Nigeria and a No. 6 position on Apple Music’s UK Hip-Hop Top Albums chart.

Beyond his recorded work, ODUMODUBLVCK has established a distinctive cultural presence, fronting campaigns for Patta and Nike and collaborating with visual provocateurs Slawn, Soldier Boyfriend, and Ciesay (Places+Faces). He has also lit up stages from Skepta’s Big Smoke Festival to Burna Boy’s historic London Stadium performance.

His recent collaborations include a feature on Headie One’s 2024 album The Last One and contributions to Pa Salieu’s Mercury-nominated Afrikan Alien. This year he was named to Rolling Stone’s Future 25.

With INDUSTRY MACHINE, ODUMODUBLVCK aims to deliver a project that matches his ambition and global reach—a defining body of work from one of rap’s most fearless voices.
