Latin Grammy-nominated artist Cazzu officially begins her artistic journey with Latinaje: La Novela, a bold performance with three sold-out tour dates in Buenos Aires, Argentina, that served as the opening of her Latin American tour. Featuring 14 live musicians, reimagined versions of her most iconic songs, and four distinct acts rich in elaborate costumes and powerful choreography, Latinaje: La Novela offered an elevated live experience and showcased Cazzu’s evolution as an artist.
The 14-date tour – in support of her fifth studio album Latinaje – includes two sold-out shows at Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City. The tour will also stop in Montevideo (Uruguay), Guadalajara, Monterrey, Mérida, and Puebla (Mexico), as well as Santiago de Chile (Chile), Lima (Peru), and Bogotá (Colombia).
Entirely written by Cazzu and produced by Nico Cotton, Latinaje is a deeply introspective exploration of love in all its forms – fiery, fractured, eternal, and ephemeral. Through powerful storytelling, Cazzu places herself at the heart of narratives that reveal her strength, vulnerability, and the nuanced realities of love and identity as a Latin American woman. The album is a rich tapestry of sound, blending copla, tango, cumbia, bachata, corrido and Argentine folklore into a genre-defying journey.
Latinaje showcases Cazzu’s bold artistic vision, as seen in the music video for “Mala Suerte” directed by the artist herself. The visual weaves a narrative of romantic misfortune, with Cazzu portraying a woman betrayed by love yet empowered in her resilience. The album also includes “Odiame,” a tribute to Argentine icon Tita Merello and the golden age of show business, and “La Cueva,” whose video’s burning country house symbolizes the collapse of a relationship. In the corrido “Dolce,” revenge takes center stage, while the cumbia-infused “Con Otra” nods to Karina “La Princesita” and explores themes of love and identity in suburban Buenos Aires.
For the cover art, Cazzu enlisted acclaimed photographer Sebastián Faena to capture a beautiful portrait: the artist standing amidst the Carnival of Jujuy, a powerful expression of Argentina’s cultural soul. Steeped in ancestral Andean rituals and Spanish tradition, the festival becomes more than a backdrop – it’s a symbol of resistance, identity, and artistic lineage. Through this photo, the album extends its voice beyond sound, becoming a celebration of heritage etched in color, movement, and memory.
Cazzu is a fearless and versatile artist from Argentina who has become one of the most influential voices in Latin urban music. She rose to fame in 2019 with her breakthrough album Error 93, featuring standout tracks like “Visto a las 00” and “Mucha Data.” The project solidified her presence in Latin trap and led to major collaborations with artists such as Bad Bunny and Khea. She followed up with the Bonus Trap EP and genre-crossing hits like “Ladrón” with Lali and “Animal” with María Becerra, proving her ability to evolve while staying true to her roots.
