Speaking about the single, Smith explains, “Your twenties can be scary, and I often find myself overwhelmed by the mountainous journey ahead, trying to establish a foothold in life and become the artist I know I can be. Sometimes, turning to your family, to someone who has a few more years under their belt, can relieve some of that pressure. ‘Go With The Flow’ is a reflection on this, a muse on the catharsis of letting go and trusting that the choices you make will take you to where you need to go.”
