To celebrate the 8th anniversary of their debut today, Stray Kids thank STAY by gifting their fans a brand new digital track “별, 빛 (STAY)” out now—listen HERE.
With their signature message, “STRAY KIDS EVERYWHERE ALL AROUND THE WORLD YOU MAKE STRAY KIDS STAY,” Stray Kids have always promised to remain by STAY’s side. “별, 빛 (STAY)” is a warm ballad with guitar and piano melodies that leave a lingering resonance. The song tells the story of people who rely on one another and walk together under the same sky, with the lyrics expressing a positive message of hope for tomorrow through imagery of the “universe” and “stars.”
Stray Kids members HAN and Seungmin participated in composing the song and wrote the lyrics themselves, packing the heartfelt emotions of all eight members into a sincere and beautiful letter for STAY. The artwork is inspired by Stray Kids’ official lightstick and visually represents the moment “when light becomes direction,” symbolizing how Stray Kids and STAY guide each other. Each member also added a personal touch by designing stars on the image, making the artwork even more special.
Stray Kids continue to rise to new heights, powered by the unwavering support of their fans. Last October, they successfully concluded their largest-ever world tour, “Stray Kids World Tour <dominATE>,” which filled stadiums worldwide. Their full-length album KARMA (released in August 2025) and SKZ IT TAPE “DO IT” (released in November 2025) both topped the Billboard 200 Chart, making Stray Kids the first artist to achieve #1 debuts for eight consecutive releases since their debut. In addition, the group has accomplished impressive milestones, including winning grand prizes at major music awards and becoming the only K-Pop artist to rank among the Top 10 in U.S. album and CD sales, demonstrating their status as true “record-makers.”
Stray Kids continue to carry their momentum into 2026. They have been nominated for “K-Pop Group of the Year” at the upcoming 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 26th and are set to headline major global music festivals, including The Governors Ball Music Festival in New York this June and Rock in Rio in Brazil this September.
