Making waves in the independent music industry, Leonardo Cococcia has emerged into the limelight as an exciting young producer to keep an eye on. Having graduated from the world-renowned Berklee College of Music, he has been celebrated by the industry having been featured on projects that have been covered by the likes of the New York Times, Billboard and beyond!
Cococcia has recently become a member of staff at Berklee NYC, which has played host to many a famous name, including Bruce Springsteen and Madonna, highlighting big moves he is making at such a young age. Looking forward to the rest of 2026, the Abruzzo-based talent looks to further his craft as a musician, which will no doubt attract more industry attention.
Speaking about his roles, he explains, “As an audio engineer, I specialise in mastering, a process that I truly see as the creative and emotional expansion of the music, rather than something that is exclusively technical, inspired by my mentors, the team of Dave Kutch. As a recording and mixing engineer, I am forever energised by the raw, honest approach of Steve Albini as well as the engineers at The Bunker Studios, Brooklyn.”
