DomLand releases emotional new soul EP ‘Dipped in Black’

Hailing from Ottawa, Canada, DomLand is an artist who’s must spans a cinematic timelessness as well as a vivid emotional clarity. Returning to the limelight once again, her new release ‘Dipped in Black’ is a three-track EP which honours her late partner, who sadly passed away following the birth of their child.

Blending evocative arrangements with poignant poetry, DomLand’s hearty sense of spirit shines through the new body of work. Brimming with infectious hooks and bagfuls of soul, the EP passes by with an astonishing aura, highlighting love’s constant evolution.

Diving into the release, the artist shares, “This project honours my late partner, Dip Black, who passed away while I was pregnant with our son. Though the journey has been painful, creating this music became a therapeutic way to process grief and transform it into something lasting.”
