Mariachi El Bronx Shares New Single & Video for “Bandoleros”

Los Angeles’ Mariachi El Bronx kick off 2026 with their new single “Bandoleros,” the latest offering off their forthcoming album Mariachi El Bronx IV, due February 13 via ATO. A Norteño-charged rallying cry, the track captures the fighting spirit at the heart of the record – a song the band describes as the album’s “battle cry.” Written amid a moment of mounting chaos both globally and close to home, “Bandoleros” channels courage and righteous indignation, concluding on a hard-won note of defiance: “We ride out / No matter how bad it may seem.”

“Bandoleros” offers another taste of the band’s first release in over a decade – a 12-song collection that honors the rich Hispanic music and culture integral to Los Angeles while chronicling gamblers, former playboys, warriors, and lovers navigating the weight of modern existence. The song premiered via Alternative Press who say, “the Bronx has turned into a melting pot of cultures and sounds, fusing mariachi music and the punk edge their fans know them for.” Read the interview here.

The video was directed by the legendary LA street photographer, director, and longtime friend of Mariachi El Bronx Estevan Oriol (Cypress Hill, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Blink 182). “I’ve been working with these guys for years and this version of the band is unstoppable,” he says. “I’m proud to of been given creative freedom to match their massive sound with this video that visually matches the GIANT they’ve become.’”

The band adds, “we’ve been working with Estevan since the early 2000’s. His talent and style is unmatched. Over the years we’ve become friends so linking up for the Bandoleros video was a no brainer.”

Known for their electrifying performances and iconic charro suits, Mariachi El Bronx are bringing their powerful eight-piece sound back on the road in celebration of Mariachi El Bronx IV. The run culminates with a special album release show in TijuanaMexico on February 14 (low ticket warning) – a city that embodies the raw emotion, beauty, and intensity that have long fueled the band’s music. The performance will be livestreamed worldwide via VEEPS, extending the communal spirit of the night beyond borders and tickets are available here. Reflecting on the significance of these dates, the band shares: “These shows represent a sacred rite of passage for every Southern Californian. Tijuana is raw, beautiful, dangerous, and inspiring.”
