Diving into the single, Yanz explains, “This song is me acknowledging that. Not everything I have is up for grabs. Not everything I create has to be available. There’s a point where generosity turns into depletion, especially in creative spaces, where the line between collaboration and extraction can get blurry. I’ve had to learn that saying no doesn’t mean closing off, it means staying whole. It’s also a reminder that support isn’t something you earn through output. Real connection has to go both ways.”
