PET SHOP BOYS ANNOUNCE ‘DREAMWORLD: THE GREATEST HITS LIVE’ SHOW FOR LYTHAM FESTIVAL 2026

Pet Shop Boys have today announced that they are bringing their acclaimed show, ‘Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live’, to the TK Maxx presents Lytham Festival 2026.

‘Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live’ is the duo’s first ever greatest hits tour which has received outstanding 5* reviews and has so far seen them play to sold-out audiences in the UK, Europe, and North and South America, with shows to come in Japan next year. Pet Shop Boys also played a sold-out ‘Dreamworld’ residency at London’s Royal Opera House last summer, as well as headline performances at the Isle of Wight Festival and BBC Radio 2 In The Park.

Now they will bring their incredible live show to the Lytham Festival 2026 in Lancashire on Saturday 4th July with a headline performance – marking the biggest ever homecoming date for Chris Lowe who was born and raised on the Fylde coast in Blackpool.

Last week Pet Shop Boys announced ‘Disco 5’, the latest instalment of their continuing ‘Disco’ album series of dance tracks and remixes which started in 1986. The new 12-track collection features Pet Shop Boys’ recent remixes of songs by artists including Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Primal Scream, Paul Weller, Tina Turner, Claptone, Wolfgang Tillmans and more, as well as a remix of their own track ‘Dreamland’ featuring Olly Alexander. The PSB-produced ‘I’m in Love With a German Film Star’ by Sam Taylor-Johnson, originally released on Kompakt in 2008, is included along with Carroll Thompson’s ‘Let the Music Play’ which was produced by PSB in the early ‘90s when it appeared in the soundtrack for the hit film, ‘The Crying Game’. The album also features the duo’s remix of Sleaford Mods’ cover of Pet Shop Boys’ iconic ‘West End girls’ and the PSB/Soft Cell collaboration ‘Purple Zone’. The new album will be released on 21st November via Parlophone Records and is available to pre-order now

Later this month Frances Barber will revive her role of Billie Trix in ‘MUSIK’ by Jonathan Harvey and Pet Shop Boys, directed by Terry Johnson, which will run from 14th-25th October at Wilton’s Music Hall in London. Barber returns to the unforgettable larger-than-life character she first created in the 2001 West End musical ‘Closer to Heaven’, with a script by Jonathan Harvey and six original songs by Pet Shop Boys.
