Capital Cities return with “So Be So Mine,” the third single from their upcoming album Making Up The Rules, slated for release in early 2026 via Lazy Hooks.
“So Be So Mine” follows previously released tracks “F*k It” (“a glorious synthfest” – LA on Lock) and “Late For School” (“a groundbreakingly groovy and inventive synthwave tune” – Indie Music Discovery).
Simultaneously an intimate love song and a meditation on existentialism, “So Be So Mine” showcases Capital Cities’ trademark blend of shimmering synths, layered harmonies, and playful yet thought-provoking songwriting.
“The song is about trying to win over an absent lover,” explains co-frontman Sebu, “by naively making the most impossible of promises — peace on Earth.”
