In a culture obsessed with “who you signed to” or “who co-signed you,” Weirdo Gang proudly did things the other way around. Their debut album Gang Related—crafted, recorded, and released independently—has made it clear: you don’t need a co-sign to make a classic.
“We didn’t ask permission,” says Tk. “We just built our own foundation.”
🏗️ Self-Made from Studio to Stage
Weirdo Gang’s roots stretch back to Jupe Productions, where Fliparachee, Ayara Senoj, and Tk The Grate were recording separately. A chance to tour together across four states created the initial spark. But it wasn’t until a performance in L.A. when an A&R said, “Y’all would be unstoppable together” that they decided to lean in.
Since then, they’ve built everything from the music to the rollout themselves.
“We switch roles all the time. One day Ayara’s creative directing, another day Flip’s organizing the set,” says Tk.
There are no passengers in this group only drivers.

Gang Related was recorded over months of writing, rewrites, and reflection. There are no throwaways on this record. Every verse, every transition, every beat feels earned.
- The album’s closer “HMS” (Hold My Smile) hits like a mission statement: keep going, even when it hurts.
- “Gang Related Interlude” is raw audio storytelling at its finest.
- “Out for the Night” shows they can make outside music without losing their message.
“Weirdo Gang is for the ones who never fit the box,” Ayara explains. “The misfits. The kids who felt too much. The ones who kept showing up anyway.”
Gang Related wasn’t made for labels. It was made for legacy.
And now the world knows Weirdo Gang doesn’t need a seat at your table.
They’re building their own stage.
