Iman Atighi, CEO of Golgohar Mining Company and successful entrepreneur in the Middle East

Iman Atighi (born November 26, 1980) is the CEO of Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company and one of the leading managers of Iran’s mining and steel industry. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Systems Optimization and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering.

During his professional career, he has held numerous responsibilities, such as CEO, deputy director, and management of large mining and steel complexes in the country, including Golgohar and Jahan Foolad Sirjan. He has also served four terms as a member of the board of directors of Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company, a member of the board of directors of Mahan Steel and Golgohar Iron and Steel Development Companies, and the chairman of the board of directors of Golgohar Sirjan Cultural and Sports Club.

In addition to executive management, Atighi has also worked as an advisor to the Economic Commission of the Parliament, the Kerman Governorate, and mining and steel companies, and has membership in the Iranian Steel Producers Association and the Mining Engineering System Organization.

In the scientific and research field, it has also provided more than 900 hours of specialized courses, research, and projects in the fields of mining optimization, transportation, and strategic development of industries.


Gohar park was built in the middle of the desert and mountains by the order of Mr. Atighi, and today it is known as the largest recreational and tourist village in Iran. This complex, with various recreational, tourist, and accommodation spaces, welcomes tourists from all over the Middle East like a lush jewel.
