Back with a bang, Double Major shows no signs of slowing down as he unveils his latest disco-tinged belter ‘NO’. Looking to make a name for himself, the new release comes hot on the heels of ‘KBN’, which the Berlin-based artist released earlier in the summer.
Laced with a pumping backbeat, ‘NO’ brings nothing but energy, finesse, and vibe – everything you could possibly want from a modern-pop track. Toeing the line of the likes of Altin Gun and Dua Lipa, Double Major puts his own spin on the genre, pioneering his distinctive ‘Nu Disco’ flavour.
Diving in, he explains, “This song is about a very important lesson I’ve learned in life. Something we all probably have to face at some point. To get what you really want, you have to be ready to say NO to everything else. It’s a powerful word in today’s world and is more than just a denial. It is drawing a boundary, setting a goal, and indicating a preference for something greater. It’s about not accepting consolations, and recognising your worth.”
