“BAILE” is the new single by the combo of Nice Rocks X Klubjumpers, and they make EDM magic together as if they were made for each other. In the case of this release, I am reminded of Gloria Estefan’s music, which Klubjumper’s have crossed paths with, and that makes them a match fit on this hot dance number. The vocals of Nico Rocks lead the track all the way, with the Klubjumpers duo mixing the music built around the dancefloor, freedom of expression and unbridled talent of the Latin singer. This is a fine young artist with great potential in everything he does and what lies ahead.
Forget about the current EDM scene and think about throwbacks and how they can add something new without reinventing the wheel, and the natural talent of Nico Rocks is what you get. A no-nonsense approach and an old school vibe are how “BAILE” sounds and visually appears while it never skips a beat and succeeds at pleasing a crossover audience. “BAILE” isn’t just a song but a dance anthem for the ages by a one of a kind who pulls it off with ease, and the precision of the Klubjumpers puts the icing on the cake.
If you check out other tracks, you can definitely tell the difference in the production values brought to the table on “BAILE” and take in more if you’re not already familiar with Nico Rocks, but this seems to bring the Latin EDM artist full circle and produces anticipation for more of the infectiousness. The lyrics are easy to follow, and the song is as easy to dance to as it possibly gets, and you can’t deny it once you hear it even if you’re not dancing at the time. You’ll be tapping your toe and singing along before it’s over.
“BAILE” makes you want to bounce around to it and hit the dancefloor as it commands the listener to move and groove, but it stands up in or out of the club environment, which is a testament to the song and Nico Rocks, also thanks to Klubjumpers putting their hands all over it. The songs start with a lovely flamenco style guitar motif to set up the one-word chorus coming right in as the vocals immediately take over. What happens next is a magical party of upbeat vocals and lightly applied percussion with singing about the dreams people sweat out on the dancefloor.
The differences between EDM and disco aren’t far apart, it’s just another word for it sometimes, and other times not, but the point is if you’re old enough you’re taken back to when the latter word was the genre of the time and Nico Rocks owns it like a natural. “BAILE” is a time capsule and Klubjumpers are just the experience to transport the song from classic to modern values, and the only thing to be faulted is the under three-minute running time, because this great little Latin EDM gem makes you want to dance two to three times longer.
