As the final buzzer sounds on the traditional, male-dominated networking scene, a new player is taking the court. Schmooze, a community dedicated to fostering business relationships for women, is hosting a WNBA Watch Party, offering a fresh and exciting alternative for professional women to connect. The upcoming event is scheduled for Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM EDT at Blue Haven South, located at 121 Fulton Street in New York, NY.

For decades, men have built relationships and closed deals over Yankees or Knicks games. Now, with the surging popularity of women’s sports, particularly women’s basketball, Schmooze is seizing the opportunity to create a similar atmosphere for women.
“It’s finally our turn!” a promotional snippet for the event exclaims, capturing the sentiment of a rising movement. The watch party will feature a New York Liberty game, providing a backdrop of thrilling athletic competition for attendees to mingle, cheer, and build connections. Whether coming to support the team and meet new people, or to bring a specific client or colleague to forge a stronger professional bond, the event is designed to be inclusive and welcoming.
