Ahead of the release of their highly-anticipated third studio album HYPERYOUTH this Friday, fast-rising, genre-defying alt/hip-hop duo Joey Valence & Brae have released “SEE U DANCE,” a club-ready anthem featuring pop culture icon Rebecca Black. “We wanted to make something reminiscent of a 2000s club track and ‘SEE U DANCE’ really begged for a catchy hook featuring a female vocalist,” said JVB. “Rebecca came in and absolutely crushed it. We’re big fans of what she’s been doing in dance music and, more than that, who she is as a human and artist. This is an immediate club smasher and we’re so excited for everyone to dance to it.”

The eclectic and hard-hitting album has all the hallmarks of the best of JVB, inclusive of Joey’s production (sample-heavy and fully produced in his State College, PA bedroom), while also digging deeper thematically, carrying a message of growing up without getting old that weaves its way throughout the album, a marked evolution for the pair that still marries elements from their early hits and critically acclaimed projects PUNK TACTICS (its title track was just Certified RIAA Gold) and NO HANDS. With each release, JVB grow bolder, braver and louder, turning up the volume on their swag as they skillfully traverse a smash and grab collision of 90s hip-hop, drum ‘n’ bass and decades-spanning pop culture references while remaining undeniably themselves. They’re carving out their own niche with a signature sound that’s equal-parts nostalgic yet futuristic, authentic and infectious.
