Following the release of teaser singles ‘If You Want’ and ‘Water Take Me Away’ earlier in the year, Eden Cami finally unveils her long-awaited new EP, ‘Come My Way’. An adventure through alt-pop, with a cinematic charm, the project is composed of four tracks.
Kicking off with the vibrant ‘What Comes Next’, Eden quickly highlights herself as a boundary-pushing artist. It’s difficult to pin down the EP as having one particular sound with its almost water-like approach to genre. Despite being a slice of pop music at heart, the EP dances between alternative, indie, and even synth-pop to give it that emphatic glow.
Speaking about the new EP, she dives in, “This EP brings together many fragments of who I am culturally, emotionally, and musically. It’s a collection of songs that were born in different moments of disorientation, longing, and hope. Each track explores a different facet of what it means to search, be it for safety, for belonging, for meaning. Some songs carry the weight of displacement, others speak to love, anxiety, or spiritual courage. I’ve always lived between languages and worlds, and I think you can hear that throughout the EP, both in the sound and in the stories. For me, ‘Come My Way’ is less about arriving somewhere and more about daring to keep walking, even when the path is uncertain.”
