Double Major combines slick with groove on new single ‘KBN’

Pakistan’s own Double Major is back with the release of his new single ‘KBN’. Fusing an alt-pop sentiment with disco melodies, the release is the first follow up to ‘RKR’ as he looks to place Nu-Disco on the map.

Coupling together vibrant, colourful melodies with an ardent call to the dancefloor, Double Major shines as he looks to make waves across the industry. Taking cues from the likes of Altin Gun and Chromeo, the release leans into synth-pop nostalgia, whilst adding his own cultural stamp.

Commenting on the release, Major dives in, “The disco era in Pakistan in the 60s, 70s, and 80s, was more than just a music movement,” the artist explains. “Disco music allowed Pakistan to connect with ideas of Liberty and Freedom, and gave power to the voices for the empowerment of women and the proliferation of education in my country.”
