Lana Crow steps into the spotlight with her powerful new single, ‘If He Loved Me Back Then’. From a young age, It was clear Lana was destined for a life in music – her grandparents even insisted she enrol in a musical preschool. Despite being naturally shy, Lana quickly emerged from her shell through her new found love of playing piano. After facing an unfortunate health setback, Lana’s musical dreams were put on pause. It was not until she married and started a family that her passion was reignited. Now after two dedicated years in the studio, Lana is ready to make waves in the pop scene.
‘If He Loved Me Back’ is a reimagined version of Lana’s earlier single, ‘If He Loved Me’ from her debut album. The latest rendition embraces a euphoric indie-pop tone, with shimmering synths effortlessly sailing through the airwaves. Lana’s latest release rebrands breakups, reflecting on memories rather than regret.
Diving into her latest release, Lana shares “This song is based on ‘If He Loved Me’ from my debut album I Will, but I changed both the lyrics and the tune to create a more cheerful, danceable version. It’s about looking back on heartbreak with gratitude rather than regret — turning past pain into personal power. I want people to celebrate failed relationships, because I don’t believe they’re really failures. Every connection teaches us something about ourselves, and all of them — the good, the bad, and the ugly — deserve to be celebrated with a good old dance move.”
