Legacy in the Making Meet BlazemUp

BlazemUp didn’t grow up dreaming of microphones or tour buses. He was just a kid in San Bernardino dealing with life—and then life dealt him a hand that changed everything. After losing an uncle to cancer, his emotions found an outlet in songwriting. Since that first studio session in 2008, music became less of a hobby and more of a calling.

Now, as a standout voice under Voodoo Nation LLC, BlazemUp is shaping his sound and building his legacy one verse at a time. He doesn’t chase trends—he creates moments. His greatest influences, particularly DJ Quik, helped shape his sonic identity. That dream collab? A full BlazemUp project produced by Quik himself. And honestly, we’re here for it.

Despite being tested by life’s challenges—from avoiding the pull of the streets to raising two sons, including one with autism—he stays grounded. Music is his passion, but fatherhood is his purpose. That real-life balance bleeds into his lyrics, giving fans a taste of authenticity that’s rare these days.

He’s rocked stages with DJ Quik and is gearing up for two upcoming shows that fans won’t want to miss. Catch BlazemUp performing May 17 in Los Angeles at Catch One, and May 18 in Las Vegas at Fremont Country Club. If you’ve never seen him live, now is the time.

With a new album brewing and a podcast gaining traction, BlazemUp is showing what longevity looks like in hip-hop—especially when it’s fueled by love, legacy, and raw talent.
