FLY BY MIDNIGHT REACH THE FINISH LINE WITH HIGHLY ANTICIPATED EP The Race: Lap 3/3

LA based indie pop-rock duo Fly By Midnight are making waves yet again with the release of their latest EP, The Race: 3/3. This marks the highly anticipated conclusion of a series of projects that collectively make up “The Race”. With this latest project, Fly By Midnight once again demonstrate why they are a force to be reckoned with, through floating melodies, immaculate production, and instrumentation that can only be described as euphoric.

The Race: Lap 3/3 will consist of three tracks including the previously released single “Heart Race”, which quickly became a fan favorite, amassing almost 1 million streams on Spotify since it was released last month. The album also includes the hard hitting and absolutely infectious track “Less in Love” and the blissful and jubilant “Divine Thing”. The latter of the two, which includes writing contributions from Trent Dabbs (High Horse – Kacey Musgraves, Girls Chase Boys – Ingrid Michaelson, Coin, Stephen Sanchez) and John-Luke Carter, was the only song from this EP written in Nashville. The track will also be released with an accompanying music video that not only illustrates the narrative of the song, but showcases Fly By Midnight as true performers and storytellers.

“We wrote ‘Divine Thing’ on the first day of our Nashville writing trip and left knowing it would be a single on the album”, said Fly By Midnight. “It just feels and sounds like us in our element. Having each met our wives serendipitously, we’ve always been fascinated by how romance finds a way of appearing when you least expect it. This is our homage to that feeling.”

The Race: Lap 3/3  is out now via all digital and streaming platforms. Get the full EP HERE and watch the music video for “Divine Thing” HERE.
