Eastwest Artistry NYC hosted a sold-out talent show at the Triad Theater, and the night was nothing short of amazing. With six unique performers and two guest artists, the stage lit up with a mix of classical, jazz, and original music. The crowd was full of energy, cheering on every act and voting for their favorite by the end of the night.
The big winners of the night were a Jazz Trio who wowed the audience with a creative performance of Variation Op. 41, blending jazz and classical styles. Their music perfectly represented Eastwest Artistry NYC’s mission—bringing together the best of Eastern and Western influences. The audience loved their performance and voted them the winner of the night!
Three classically trained performers also stood out for their stunning performances:Leyao Chen, an accomplished cellist currently based in New York, delivered a moving and masterful interpretation of Bach’s Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major. Her performance showed deep musical maturity, precision, and heartfelt emotion. Leyao has performed internationally and continues to share the beauty of classical music with new audiences.
Xiaoya Gao, a rising Chinese pianist and passionate contemporary artist, premiered an original work by Austrian composer Florian Hecher. Known for her expressive playing and sensitivity, Xiaoya brought elegance and depth to this debut performance, leaving a strong impression on the audience. Lena Wu, a soprano and the founder of Eastwest Artistry NYC, closed the classical segment with a powerful rendition of “È strano… Sempre libera” from Verdi’s La Traviata. Her commanding stage presence and vocal brilliance lit up the room. Lena is not only a celebrated opera performer but also a dedicated producer who brings artists and communities together through music.
The night was full of incredible talent, and audience members left inspired and excited for more. From soulful cello to soaring vocals and innovative jazz, Eastwest Artistry NYC once again proved the magic of live performance and artistic connection.
