“We’ve all had experiences like this as women—it’s universal,” shares Savior. “I needed to write a song that was a mantra, so that I could stop blaming myself for experiences I’ve had where I was mistreated. I felt if I kept telling myself these things were unforgivable, maybe I would finally start to believe it myself.”
Building on the success of her previous albums The Archer, which welcomed breakthrough hit “Can’t Help Myself,” and her debut Belladonna of Sadness that featured stand out track “Girlie,” Savior is taking over the helm and, with her new music, is embracing her newfound creative freedom to right a course that had left her feeling creatively adrift.
