For a decade, Martone has been a dynamic force in the world of house music, pushing creative boundaries and inspiring fans with his electrifying sound. Now, as he celebrates ten years in the industry, he’s marking the milestone with The Evolution of Martone, a powerful new album that reflects his artistic growth and passion for the genre. But music is just one part of his ever-expanding creative universe—2025 will also see the launch of Deep & Raw: The Erotica of Martone, new fashion ventures, and a continued commitment to empowering the LGBTQ+ community. In this exclusive interview, Martone opens up about his evolution, upcoming collaborations, and the impact he hopes to make through his art.
Your 10th Anniversary Album, The Evolution of Martone, drops on March 21, 2025. How does this project encapsulate your journey over the past ten years, and what do you hope fans take away from it?
“This album is a celebration of resilience, growth, and my unwavering love for house music. Over the past ten years, I’ve evolved as an artist, refining my sound, embracing new influences, and pushing creative boundaries. The Evolution of Martone is both a reflection of where I’ve been and a bold statement about where I’m headed. I want my fans to feel inspired—to dance, to love, and to embrace their own personal evolution.”
Your music has always pushed creative boundaries. How has your sound evolved from your early releases to this milestone album, and what fresh elements can fans expect?
“From my early releases, which were heavily rooted in classic house and dance, to now, my sound has grown more refined and intentional. I’ve experimented with deeper grooves, Afro-house influences, and even elements of spoken word. This album introduces a more cinematic and immersive production style while staying true to the high-energy, uplifting beats my fans love. Expect richer textures, unexpected collaborations, and a sound that feels both nostalgic and forward-thinking.”
Your upcoming single, Too Bad, So Sad featuring Intelligent Diva, debuts in April. What inspired this collaboration, and how does the track reflect your artistic vision?
“I’ve always admired Intelligent Diva’s raw energy and versatility as an artist. Too Bad, So Sad is a fierce, no-holds-barred anthem about reclaiming your power and walking away from toxic situations—whether in love, business, or life. It’s bold, sassy, and completely unapologetic, just like both of us. This track is a perfect example of how I blend storytelling with infectious beats, creating something that makes you move while delivering a message.”
In addition to your music, you’re launching Deep & Raw: The Erotica of Martone this year. How does your storytelling through literature connect with your musical artistry?
“Both music and literature allow me to express emotions, desires, and personal truths in a way that resonates deeply with people. Deep & Raw is about sensuality, empowerment, and exploring the depths of human connection—themes that also run through my music. Whether through a pulsating house beat or a provocative piece of writing, I’m always looking to evoke emotion and create an experience that lingers with my audience.”
You’ve often spoken about using music as a tool for empowerment, especially within the LGBTQ+ community. How do these new releases continue that mission?
“My music has always been about lifting people up and giving them the confidence to own their truth. House music, at its core, has always been a space for inclusivity and self-expression. With these new projects, I’m continuing that legacy by celebrating love, identity, and resilience. Whether it’s through a club anthem, a love song, or a deeply personal track, my goal is to remind people—especially those in the LGBTQ+ community—that they are seen, valued, and powerful.”

A portion of your project proceeds will support initiatives like LGBT Books to Prisoners. Why is this cause important to you, and how do you see your art driving social change?
“Access to literature, especially for incarcerated LGBTQ+ individuals, is life-changing. Books provide knowledge, hope, and a sense of belonging, and I believe everyone deserves that. Supporting LGBT Books to Prisoners is my way of giving back to a community that has always supported me. Art has the power to shift perspectives, challenge norms, and create meaningful dialogue. If my music and writing can uplift someone in a difficult situation, then I know I’m doing something right.”
As someone who has been a driving force in house music for a decade, where do you see the genre heading in the next ten years? Are there any new trends or influences that excite you?
“House music is always evolving, and right now, we’re seeing a beautiful fusion of cultures and sounds. Afro-house, Latin house, and deeper, more melodic takes on the genre are gaining traction, and I love how it’s becoming even more globally influenced. I see the next ten years bringing a return to organic, soulful storytelling in house music—where lyrics and production work together to create something truly transformative. AI and tech advancements will also play a role, but at the end of the day, house music will always be about the human experience.”
Beyond the album and book, can fans expect any live performances, music videos, or other surprises from you in 2025?
“Absolutely! I’m looking to start performing in the fall, so fans can expect to see me back on stage bringing the energy and passion that they love. I find myself multitasking more than ever, balancing music, writing, and new creative ventures. There will definitely be another book coming later this year, around late August. On top of that, I’ve recently launched a shoe and fashion line this month, which I’m incredibly excited about. It’s been a dream of mine to expand my artistic expression beyond music, and this is just the beginning. 2025 is shaping up to be a groundbreaking year, and I can’t wait to share it all with my fans!” https://martoneonline.com/style-by-martone/
