Trapheauxly (Katie Lois Johnson) is making major moves—he’s officially signed a publishing deal with Dreamers Island Entertainment and is gearing up to release his next project, Hypnagogia. Known for blending street culture with intellectual depth, Trapheauxly’s work sits at the intersection of activism, artistry, and spirituality—a philosophy he calls “Trapwomanism.”
His upcoming project, Hypnagogia, dives into the hazy space between wakefulness and dreams. With this release, Trapheauxly is pushing his sound into new, experimental territory while staying true to the sharp lyricism and genre-blending style that’s defined his career. Fans can expect the first taste of this evolution on March 13, when he drops a remix of his breakout track “Isis,” featuring COCO NAOKO.
It’s already shaping up to be a big year for Trapheauxly. His track “Light Up” recently earned him a semi-finalist spot in the 2024 American Songwriter Contest, further cementing his reputation as a creative force with something to say.
Beyond the Music: A Legacy of Activism
But Trapheauxly’s impact goes far beyond music. With a verified IQ of 252, he’s used his intellect to drive real change. At 17, he wrote Atlanta’s human trafficking policy, and by 2013, he founded Lorde LLC, a nonprofit focused on ending human trafficking. His work gained national attention in 2020, when he successfully dismantled a major sex trafficking ring in Atlanta—a decade-long fight that he took on without pay or official recognition from the city.
His commitment to justice is also personal. Trapheauxly played a key role in initiating the Diddy investigation, seeking to resolve his own human trafficking case—a testament to his unwavering fight for truth, not just for others, but for himself.
A Multi-Dimensional Artist and Leader
Beyond his activism, Trapheauxly is an accomplished poet. Under pseudonyms like Kai Arion Lorde and Kai Johnson, he’s self-published multiple poetry collections that tackle themes of revolution, spirituality, and social justice. He also leads the Ignite CUPSI team at Agnes Scott College, guiding the next generation of poets.
His upcoming literary release, Lorde Knows, drops on November 6, 2024—a deliberate nod to Election Day—and features two powerful singles: “ROSEQUARTZ” and “TRU’.”
In music, Trapheauxly runs Trapville Muzik, an independent collective rooted in DIY culture. And with Super Bowl 2025 on the horizon, where he’s set to perform, he’s about to bring his unique sound and message to a massive audience.
Carrying a Revolutionary Spirit Forward
At 27, Trapheauxly’s work reflects a bold mix of art, activism, and scholarship, grounded in a rich ancestral legacy. His lineage includes Cherokee Chief William Castleberry and Marie Laveau, and that deep connection to history fuels his revolutionary spirit.
Now, with a publishing deal in hand and Hypnagogia on the way, Trapheauxly is poised to continue challenging systems of oppression while carving out new creative spaces.
As he prepares to release new music and expand his platform, one thing is clear: Trapheauxly isn’t just here to make art—he’s here to make history.
