SAJA – “Prettier Than Me”

SAJA is back with their empowering Afro house single, “Prettier Than Me”, a track that highlights their genre-blurring artistry. Blending elements of house, pop, and Afro rhythms, the song showcases the duo’s cutting-edge sound that feels fresh without falling into overdone tropes. Gabi’s ethereal vocals glide over Sam’s vibrant production, which pulses with an Afro-driven rhythm, creating an infectious and unique musical vibe. “Prettier Than Me” dives into themes of insecurity and self-comparison, something Gabi personally reflects on in her songwriting. While the track explores vulnerability, it also delivers a message of understated empowerment, reminding listeners that they don’t have to feel diminished by these insecurities.

TIHANE – “Ain’t That A B!tch”

Polynesian-Croatian-American artist TIHANE unveils her latest single, “Ain’t That A B!tch”, a soulful fusion of future bounce, retro vibes, and electronic rhythms, co-produced with Segnon as the lead track for her debut album, The War On Love (early 2025). Based in LA, TIHANE’s multicultural roots and collaborations with East and West African producers shape her genre-blending sound. Written during an emotional breakup, the song layers vintage samples, deep indigenous drums, and funky basslines, inspired by legends like Al Green and KAYTRANADA. The song’s empowering message is visually echoed in a stunning one-take video by TIHANE and Cris Blyth, where vintage tones shift to surreal colours, capturing a journey of heartbreak and self-discovery.

Charlotte Boin – “the night is long”

Emerging artist Charlotte Boin returns with her introspective yet danceable single, “the night is long“, blending pop, soulful R&B, and a touch of French flair. This track captures the emotional highs and lows of social anxiety, inspired by nights where you feel out of place yet keep up appearances. Charlotte’s journey in music, influenced by Beyoncé, Frank Ocean, ROSALÍA, and SZA, reflects the vibrancy and shadows of her French hometown, offering a genuine glimpse into life’s twists in your 20s. Self-produced over a year, Charlotte crafted the beat after a personal experience in early 2023, cherishing the freedom to express her authentic self and convey a positive message: even the longest night will end, reminding you of your worth.

Grey Star Ghost – Angels Leaving

Grey Star Ghost, led by singer-songwriter Jacob Tucker, releases their third album, Angels Leaving, showcasing a mature, introspective sound blending emotive alt-rock with haunting melodies. The album, crafted between Albuquerque and Salt Lake City, delivers 12 tracks capturing both raw energy and refined production. The standout track, “Empty Glass”, highlights the band’s gift for powerful, emotional arrangements. Conceived before the pandemic, Angels Leaving took shape through live performances and studio sessions, with Tucker and bandmates Sean Umstead, Ken Easton, and Angel Cruz recording mostly live, enhancing its organic feel. Tucker describes the album as his “best foot forward”, representing his artistic growth and unique vision, making it Grey Star Ghost’s most cohesive and captivating release yet.

Jazzu – “Razor Blade”

Pop sensation Jazzu has released her heartfelt single “Razor Blade” via Creative Industries. With a career spanning two decades, Jazzu has earned an MTV Award, multiple M.A.M.A Music Awards, and over 50 million streams. She’s performed with award-winning Koop, opened for Rita Ora, and hosted her own concert to 20,000 fans in Lithuania. Produced by Anthony Marshall, “Razor Blade” showcases Jazzu’s emotive vocal range, blending jazz, electronic, and pop in a dramatic soundscape of intense orchestration.
