Dublin alt-rock outfit Empathy releases charged new single ‘A Dying Breed’

Returning with their second release to date, Northside Dublin-based alt-rock outfit Empathy strikes a powerful chord once again with their new single ‘A Dying Breed’. Roaring out of the speakers, the single follows the release of the group’s debut ‘Jeffrey’ earlier in the year.

The track spills out of the airwaves, brimming with a fierce backbeat and riotous guitar lines. ‘A Dying Breed’ showcases a band at their melodic best, bolstering the airwaves with a steely edge and punk-esque energy. As the group’s signature sound unfolds, they once again lace their lyricisms with heady social commentary and mesmerizing poetry.

Speaking about the themes embedded into the release, the band explains, “A Dying Breed is a song about the social climbers and sycophants we all brush shoulders with. Status seekers who ultimately burn out fast. We all know them.”
