  1. Buy the Comodo SSL Certificate

Once your SSL certificate has been validated, Comodo will email your SSL certificate to you.

Enter the Comodo or the reseller account, look for the download button and select the format of the file that is most suitable for the server you are using. The common formats which are used are.crt or.pem files. After you choose format for it, you can save the certificate to your computer.
