Today, San Diego’s almost monday released their official music video for their latest single, “she likes sports.” This track, filled with playful energy, is the latest offering from their upcoming debut album, DIVE, set for release on September 25th via Hollywood Records.

Released on August 16th, “she likes sports” is another airy, sun-drenched track from almost monday, comprised of Dawson Daugherty (vocals), Cole Clisby (guitar) and Luke Fabry (bass). The accompanying music video is a fitting visual support for the single, bringing the song’s cheeky sport references to life. The trio, dressed in matching tennis whites, serve as a backing band for an intense match in the California hills. Surrounded by palm trees and abundant sunshine, the video captures the energy of a lighthearted, lively So-Cal afternoon.
“‘she likes sports’ is the song on the album that was the most fun to make,” Daugherty shares. “I wish making music was like this every single time! We literally wrote the song in 10 minutes. I just remember it being such a fun flow state. It’s one of those songs that came really easily — we were just laughing, having a good time, and looking up terms in tennis.”
