Following on from the release of the ‘Raw’ EP earlier this year, Barbara Falzoni is back with the powerful, heartfelt ballad ‘Diamonds In My Heart’. With what already is shaping up to be a busy year so far, the Spanish-Italian songwriter is already making a name for herself as one of the most exciting young talents in her field.
‘Diamonds In My Heart’ is one of those powerful tracks that firmly grips you at the heartstrings. All the way from its humble piano-led beginnings, its intoxicating atmosphere takes hold of the airwaves. The track is set to lead the soundtrack of the latest Neil Marshall film ‘Duchess’ which also stars Falzoni’s sister Giada as ‘Maria’, making the single more than just a sensational power ballad. The track explores the intense emotions of lust and romance, seeing Falzoni long for the touch of a foregone lover whilst the spellbinding intensity of the record takes hold. Written alongside grammy winning Rudy Perez, ‘Diamonds In My Heart’ sees Barbara continue to work with engineers Andres Bermudez and the legendary Bob Ludwig.
Speaking about the heartfelt nature of the single, Falzoni adds “Having a song of mine playing in my sister’s, Giada Falzoni, first movie is an absolute dream” as she steps up to the limelight alongside her sister.
