LDRDO unveils the cinematic debut album ‘On The Road’

LDRDO, El Dorado by pronunciation, is the project of Tel Aviv music producer David Levi, whose presence on the global stage is only growing, the indie press picking up his music and putting its soulful essence on a pedestal. His spiritual connection to music and its transformative abilities are the root of his music. To celebrate the release of his debut album, you can find LDRDO live at BAR BOBU, Berlin on August 31st.

Now unveiling the highly anticipated On The Road, LDRDO releases an album that is a true showcase of raw musical talent and phenomenal commitment to his craft. Able to transcend genre, captivate a broad influence and engage a narrative that is nothing short of completely captivating, this version of LDRDO is a true evolution of the one seen in the debut EP Lost In The Fire.

Teaser singles ‘Light My Fire’ and ‘Doing My Best’, hold the same emotional power, but the momentous climaxes and unique, cinematic arrangements seen on the likes of ‘Lost’ and ‘Anda Lucia’ are the perfect compliment to the more infectious numbers of ‘CURTIS’ and ‘Troubadour’.

Seemingly unrestricted in almost every category, this is LDRDO let loose, to find the sense of pop, psychedelia, folk, synth-pop, and global crossroads that his influence brings.

The artist shares his thoughts, “‘On the Road’ is a concept album based on my semi-autobiographical journey after a crisis and my decision to refocus my life. Taking the same title from Jack Kerouac’s legendary book, this piece is heavily influenced by American road stories alongside my home culture in the Middle East.”
