What makes James Williams unique as a person?
What makes me unique as a person is that I’m always willing and ready to try something outside of the norm. I like to start from scratch, build and make myself better with any task that I take. I love watching the process of seeing myself getting better and better on a daily basis.
What are some tools you utilize to stay motivated daily?
The tool that I use to motivate myself on a daily basis is always watching something positive, motivational, or funny as soon as I wake up in the morning. The second thing that keeps me motivated is the drive that my mother instilled in me to never take no hands and keep pushing.
How has the city of Houston inspired you to enter the entertainment business?
I have seen many influencers and artists from Houston breaking walls down in the industry. It made me look at things and be like man you can do it too. So I know that it is reachable, but I keep doing what I’m doing.
How would you best describe your fashion style?
My fashion style I like to think of a football player that’s getting off the jet that is walking to the locker room. When you see photos and videos of them they are always clean. They don’t look like the everyday person and they are big dudes pushing the fashion envelope. You have to have a lot of confidence to rock what you want to rock because many will not understand.
If you could work with any brand in the world, what would it be?
I would love to work with Louis Vuitton. They stick to the market. They never put things on sale. They stay true to who they are, which is a very clean chic brand. I would love to do a collaboration with them one day.
How do you plan to use your platform to inspire others?
I would like to inspire others to know that your insecurities can be some of the biggest blessings. They can bless you and open doors for you like no other thing could. Also, I would like to push fashion for plus size and heavy set people to show them that you can be fashionable regardless of the size.
