Devin Millar Returns With “Adolescence Returns” as a sequel to “Adolescence” From 2016 and a Music Video For It

Devin Millar has released yet another music video and song this month. This time it’s for his song “Adolescence Returns” which is a remake of his older song “Adolescence” which was used on Shut Eye, a short Hulu series.

This time, it uses his modern sound and contains vocals which fits his music now. This inclusion of newer sounds fits his usual for his newer songs.

One major difference here is that there’s a video for it, and the video came out after it’s official release on streaming such as Spotify and Apple Music. It quickly received 20,000 views on YouTube since release and has been circulating TikTok with users using it as their audio for their videos, so the challenge was accepted by the Devin Millar fanbase.

The video shows Devin walking down the streets of Portland, where he lives, while singing to the camera in his outfit and wearing a jester hat. This reflects how he feels like an outsider, or as Devin describes it, “the fool” from the rest of the world. It is sunset and everyone on the street continues walking and so does he, even though he feels helpless without anyone noticing him.

Devin says he keeps to himself too much and how he is depicted in the video is truer to himself than how he is reflected in his image. Although he overcame his shyness through his music and life on the internet, this is how he feels in private.

Devin is going to continue creating more songs and videos to go with each other, and let’s hope more videos get released to keep the Devin Millar scene going on! Stay tuned Devin Millar fans all over!
