Etisalat metro station is a part of Dubai Metro’s Green Line and is present on its eastern endpoint in Al Qusais. It was made public in 2011 and has recently been renamed as Etisalat by e& following the company’s rebranding.

About Etisalat Metro Station

Coded as G11, the Etisalat terminal is one of the 20 stations of the Green Line. It’s the last station on the eastern terminus, which receives all the trains coming from the Creek starting Point. Its construction is elevated, and it falls under fare zone 5. 

This big station of metro map Dubai is situated on Al Nahda Street and has an ideal location between the northern end of Dubai Airport on one side and Al Qusais and Al Twar towns on the other. Boarding at this terminal, you can reach several bustling and historical spots of Dubai, including Gold Souq, Al Ghubaiba, and Oud Metha, until the line ends at Creek. 

The immediate station following Etisalat is Al Qusais. Preceding Etisalat is the terminus end, and there’s currently no other station before it. 

Etisalat Metro Station Facilities: 

Just like all the Dubai metro stations, Etisalat is also pretty spacious and has a decent ambiance, including all the amenities necessary for smooth public traveling. A few highlighted facilities you can enjoy at Etisalat Metro Station are as follows. 

  • You’ll be delighted to know that Etisalat by e& is among the few metro terminals that possess a park-and-ride facility. It has a capacity for 2300 vehicles, and all passengers using public transport can park here for free. That means you can come to this station on your personal bicycles or ride and park them safely inside the station to continue your journey on public transit. The other two stations with this particular facility are Al Jabal and CenterPoint. 
  • Other standard amenities cover ticket offices with assisting staff, self-service ticket machines, a general information desk, clean public toilets, escalators and lifts to and from the platforms, an onsite shop offering snacks and drinks, outside taxi ranks providing convenient taxi rides to your desired destination and the separate cycle parking area. 

Etisalat Metro Station Nearby Places: 

Knowing the nearby areas and public transport around the Etisalat station would further help you to use the facility efficiently for your specific destinations. Overall, it has good connectivity to popular city points, which makes it a good starting point for different work commutes and leisure travels. A few easily accessible bus stops and attraction points from the Etisalat metro stations are listed below. 

  • Bus Stops:

You will find the Etisalat bus stop just beside the Etisalat metro station. Passengers arriving on the train can use the air-conditioned walkaways linking both terminals and hop on different intercity and feeder metro buses directly to travel farther to their desired destinations. 

The intercity buses from the Etisalat bus stop go to Sharjah and Ajman, while the feeder bus routes lead to Al Qusais and Muhaisnah. So, you can take the bus suitable to your itinerary. 

The Redline Centerpoint station is also present close to it, but if you’re looking for an interchange station to shift to the Red Line, you’ll have to stop by Union or Burjuman.

Etisalat Metro Station Timings:

The timings are the same as for the entire Green Line stations which are from 5 AM to 11:30 PM on weekdays and from 8 AM to 11:30 PM on Sundays. However, operating hours differ on a daily basis, and you may experience minor delays because it’s the last station on the track. 

The exact arrival and departure time of each coming train is uploaded daily on the RTA website and App and also on the electronic displays at the stations.
