As the title suggests, it’s a message born from Lex’s own experiences. Like so many other young people, she admits to trying to avoid her own reflection and being overwhelmed by the shiny, mega-retouched beauty perfection across social media. The alternative is to Instead look inwards to find those one-of-a-kind qualities that empower the vulnerable you to become the best you.
Lex says, “‘Own Advice’ is dedicated to my younger self and anyone who might be feeling like they are not enough. It’s to empower and guide people through any problems they are facing and realise that their world is much more than just the edited one that we all see online.”
